Mortgage Quest 2.6 was developed in 1995 and has helped thousands of loan officers increase their business and become more successful. It was developed using Microsoft FoxPro 2.6, which was designed for Windows 3.1. As Microsoft developed new versions of Windows (98, 2000, ME, and XP), FoxPro 2.6 lacked the tools to take advantage of the new Windows features.

Mortgage Quest 32 is developed with the next generation of FoxPro called Visual FoxPro. Visual FoxPro is designed for all versions of Windows and is the fastest and most powerful desktop database program available today.

Mortgage Quest 32 is a completely new product. We will no longer be making program changes to Mortgage Quest 2.6 because it’s not feasible to make changes in two different programs.

Other reasons for upgrading to Mortgage Quest 32 include:

• The cost to upgrade will increase over time as we continually improve Mortgage Quest 32.
• Many problems related to using Mortgage Quest 2.6 on Windows 2000 and XP have been solved with Mortgage Quest 32, such as screen freeze, on-line help, erasing disks on back up, long folder names, and other Windows issues.
• As integrated products change, such as Calyx Point, Genesis, Contour, etc., we will only keep Mortgage Quest 32 compatible.
• Technical support will end for Mortgage Quest 2.6 in August, 2004.
